the Hatch delivers a unique tasting experience due largely to the rustic look and feel of the place. Nestled away off Boucherie, and adorned with distressed ornamentations and antique equipment of all sorts, the feeling is one of being at ease.

If casual is your thing, then the Hatch may be exactly what you're looking for. Even when it's full it still maintains a very welcoming atmosphere where people feel free to mingle and speak with each other as they would at a party or other get together.

Having said that, in these Covid pandemic times, tasting groups are limited in size, but the staff are still very friendly.

NOTE - Due to the COVID pandemic and subsequent BC state of emergency declaration, wineries had been shut down for on site sales. However, now that restrictions have lessened, wineries have been allowed to reopen for tastings and onsite sales.
