Did You Know?

Over 90% of all Kelowna area live music events happen in smaller venues. As awesome as the arena and the theatres are, it's the smaller venues that host live music each and every week here in town and have for years.

Whether you want to go way back to the Minstrel Cafe and Grateful Fed days, or more recent times when places like Barn Owl Brewing, Red Bird, and The Vibrant Vine keep musicians earning a little on a regular basis, or rigt now when newcomers like Revelry Food + Music Hub have done even more to give players a place to play and fans somewhere to watch them, it's these smaller venues that are making it happen.

Barn Owl Brewing, Red Bird Brewing, and The Vibrant Vine

During the whole pandemic period, these three venues found ways to still provide live music. Thanks partially due to their big outdoor spaces and the Okanagan weather, but also largely due to their commitment to the local music scene.

Revelry Sets a New Standard

Late in 2023 Kelowna's newest venue opened it's doors in a soft launch and started inviting local musicians to play. That has continued but they are also now hosting touring artists on a regular basis in their ultra modern and absolutely stunning new building. It also happens to have a very unique vibe unlike any other in town.
