Teigen is an up and coming Canadian country singer/songwriter who is splitting her time between Texas and Canada.

She has always loved to sing, and knew the moment that she opened for another country band in Kelowna's OK Corral that being a country singer/songwriter was what she wanted to do and be. The combination of the raw energy of the crowd and the fun that they were having made an impact that has continued to drive her towards writing more songs, recording them, and getting out to play them around the Okanagan. That, along with the influence of songwriters as diverse as Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran, Kacey Musgraves and Thomas Rhett and others keeps her honing her craft while being excited for her career and her future

She recorded and released an 8 track record with fellow singer/songwriters Tyler McCollum and Cody Angel in Austin, TX at Zone Recording Studio in 2020, and is now working with country producer Jeff Johnson from Coldstream. She is enjoying being challenged by someone who seems to be able to consistently pull just a little more out of her each session.

Her music is described as a contemporary country sound that will take her up the charts and straight to Nashville. She has a way of bringing lyrics to life with her rhythmic melodies that are filled with emotion.

More and more, as Gayse delivers more area performances, she is becoming recognized as an exciting part of the country music scene here in Kelowna.
