The arrival of Prospera Place (then Skyreach Place) in Kelowna in 1999 definately put Kelowna on the map, musically speaking. Before
the arena was built, most major acts sinply could not justify tour dates in the Okanagan Valley.
However, not only has this facility attracted some of the top names in the entertainment industry
(Elton John, Bryan Adams, Sting,
Kiss, ZZ Top, Santana), it has also won awards along the way! Skyreach Place was chosen as the best facility for music in its class in all of
Canada.
The arena is right downtown and within the boundaries of the
cultural district, across the street from the Delta Grand Okanagan and Lake City Casino. Parking is available on the lot
right next to the building as well as several other adjoining lots and street parking.
