Singer/Songwriter

Bex is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who resides in the Okanagan Valley, BC. Melancholic in style, through her music she brings a gentle light to the shadows of herself, with a palpable authenticity. Through live performance, she guides the audience inward—giving them a space to relate, connect and to share in an experience that is fully present.

In 2019 Bex released Set Fire & All That There Is—live-off the floor, recovery inspired songs with a minimalist sonic landscape, born of pain and outlived by resilience. There is a therapeutic nature to these recovery songs that draws her audience to look inwards and connect to the parts of themselves that desire healing. These songs are extensions of her own experiences, made accessible to those seeking an inner evolution and path to something more meaningful and connected.

Bex has been performing live music since 2010 and has opened for acts such as Danny Michel, Luke Wallace, The Matinee, and Shred Kelly. She is currently also performs with dreamy alternative folk duo Josh + Bex, who have have performed at the internationally acclaimed Salmon Arm Roots and Blues Festival. In 2021, Josh + Bex won silver in Best of Kelowna Musician (Kelowna Now), giving them wide recognition throughout the Okanagan Valley. Josh and Bex released their first EP in 2019 and are planning to release their full length sophomore album, Everything Is Everything, in the spring of 2022.
