with Covid still active and new restrictions in place, we are choosing to do mini "photo reviews" for as many shows as we can this year

restrictions limit us to grabbing a few shots during the first 2 or 3 songs and then we need to be on our way

Sean Bray

Kinga Heming, along with guitarist Sean Bray and upright bassist Bernie Addington, played for an hour and a half outside at Barn Owl Brewing on this balmy Tuesday evening in the Lower Mission area.

We were fortunate to hear the start of their set, which featured "Baby Just Cares", "Almost Like Being In Love", and "Summertime". Kinga's voice, on top of being well trained and in control, along with being pitch perfect, is just one those voices that possesses a very special tone. Always a pleasure to hear her sing.

Much has been written about both Bernie Addington and Sean Bray, and much more could be written. Each individually is gifted and has their own unique musical personality. Together, as a supporting ensemble, they are simply magical. As a trio, Kinga and this pair of superb jazz musicians delighted with an apparent ease that fell easy on the listeners ears while bringing smiles to the faces of the patrons that attended.
