Melissa Livingstone

Country Singer/Songwriter

Originally from Vancouver Island, Melissa Livingstone now lives in Kelowna, BC. She was nominated for the BCCMA Ray Mcauley Horizon Award in 2019, and continues to move her careeer forwards.

Describing herself as having "always wanted to be the center of attention' and having "always wanted to be in the music industry", Livingstone's story is a familiar one of singing in church, piano lessons from an early age, switching to guitar and getting lessons from her sister, and then eventually taking vocal lessons and starting to write songs.

Her earliest influences include the likes of Dolly Parton and The Eagles, and her more recent ones include Kacey Musgroves, Miranda Lambert, Cam, and Morgan Wallan.

She released a new single this summer, and has an EP set to come out still this year.

As a young, up-and-coming country singer-songwriter, Melissa Livingstone is someone to watch out for and a significant part of the country music scene in Kelowna.
