Jodie B is a local loop artist, originally from Calgary, who is moving into the world of songwriting as well. Her live performances feature her building sophisticated loops while she plays guitar, bass, harmonica, and percussion, which she then often sings over top of.

She describes her original work as a blend of hip-hop and electro-soul, and lists artists such as FKJ, Atmosphere, Rufus Du Sol, NomBe and DubFx as influences.
