As seen on CMT Canada's "Big in a Small Town" as 1 of only 30 musicians selected from across Canada Okanagan based singer/songwriter Gorden James has always had a love for acoustic music…anything unplugged!

He shows this in his straight forward approach with his performances whether songs from his three albums “or his spin on some of his favourites... the voice must be out front!

Since winning a singer/songwriter competition in 2002 with CMT Gord has continued to hone his performing skills as either a solo, duo or trio. The Good guys Band was an ensemble of amazing Okanagan musicians who joined gord on stage for a series of shows including opening for Nick Gilder.

Whether playing at a Farmers Market or a 1000 person event Gord endeavours to let his voice and lyrics tell a story that is worthy of being told.

Gorden has been heavily involved in the Music therapy programs at KGH, Rotary Lodge and The Kelowna Hospice House for the last 15 years and enjoys sharing the healing power of music
