Cameron's bass can be heard on CD's recorded throughout the valley. As a member of the Just In Time jazz trio, he has won the Scorpion Entertainment award for best jazz three years running. He is a first call musician for out of town performers and plays with the Kamloops Symphony in the rhythm section for guest vocalists.

Cameron has played six string bass and double bass for over 30 years in the Okanagan Valley. Playing with such musicians as P.J.Perry, Campbell Ryga, Ross Taggart, Carol Wellsman and Jennifer Scott among others, he demonstrates a sophisticated style.

Locally, he is hired as a performer and as a studio musician. He plays in the Just In Time trio and the Bowman Trio but his strength is his ability to fit into any musicial landscape. Ward long ago established himself as an important player in the Kelowna jazz scene.
