Bo Higgs

Singer/songwriter

He has been writing, singing and playing for 50 years. From everywhere and staying nowhere -- he occupies the cinematic narrative of stories in his heart. He tells them one at a time, one or more a day -- a prolific expulsion of the events of his life. Born in Britain, grown up in Canada, periodic hiatus in Baja, India, France, 15 years in New Zealand.

Returning to Canada he found Kelowna in 2019 and is loving the generous music scene here.

Bo only performs his own original music. His songwriting reflects his love of blues rock, punk, soul and r&b. He has studied the great American artists, Leadbelly, Robert Johnson, Son House and more through to the more recent influence that include Dave Matthews, Stevie Ray Vaughn, John Newman. Those influences developed a style that can only be called Bo’Sound
